SEX-ED + creates educational supports and content that contribute to a better understanding of genital anatomy and sexual responses. It is the first organization to create anatomically accurate models, based on human castings and representing the spectrum of genitalia (male, female, trans, with voluntary or involuntary surgeries, etc.).
Because there was no inclusive encyclopedia of genital organs, SEX-ED+ has created the genital database that is free and accessible to all.
SEX-ED+ does not receive any external funding. It is an independent project only financed through its activities. And right now, the coffers are empty.
Right now we have decided to go ahead and publish the database before it was even completed, the reason being that the need is real. Around the world, organizations working in sexual health have lost their funding. Clinics that provided care to trans people have had to close. And cuts to education leave little room to purchase anatomical materials.
In this adverse political climate, anything that can help promote a better knowledge around sexual health is welcome and this is the part that SEX-ED + has decided to play.
If you want to support SEX-ED + mission and activities, you’ve come to the right place!
