Losing funding? Fearing for your job? Grants cancelled? Programs interrupted? Boy, we are seeing it all right now in North America. And we are not even talking about things that are not directly related to sexual health.
Whatever you are going through, I am going through it with you as SEX-ED + is funded only via you and your institutions buying the models. I don’t know how long I’ll be able to keep this project into existence but whatever is left into it will be used to support and network and create solidarities because at the end of the line those are the only things no one can take from us.
If you have ressources, share them. If you have expertise, train new people to do what you do. If you have models and material, make them available so others can borrow them when it’s needed. If you still have a sufficient income, pay for people’s time, even if it’s coming from your own pocket. This is not a time to gatekeep but to build all the bridges and sideroads that are and will be needed as our field of practice (and many others) are impacted.
Stay strong. The world needs you
