SEX-ED + has been burning fuel again those last two weeks but I want to believe that it is for all the right things.
First stop was in Lisbon for the EFS – European Federation of Sexology conference. I had the pleasure to share space with 450 sx science professionals and exhibitors Überlube, Inc., KESSEL medintim and Unveil.
And the temperature was nice enough to allow fellow montrealers from the Sexology department of UQAM Denise Médico (you still belong to us), Sylvie Levesque, Julie Lavigne and Mylène Fernet to catch up on foreign soil.
Then I flew to Geneva to be a participant on the clinical study about vulva / clit sensitivity (It is amazing. It’s a first, please have a look and get as excited as I am about it as it will help understand A LOT about function/ dysfunction and response) led by Abdulcadir Jasmine, here with Eloïse Krull, Matthieu Papillard, Kostantinos Perdikis and Mylene Bolmont PhD who took the opportunity of my enthusiastic, experienced and consensual participation to try different machines and techniques to ensure best scientific results and maximum comfort for all the participants to come.
Which means that yes, I now do have pictures and videos of sonograms of my internal spongious and cavernous bodies and the blood flow coursing through them. 🤩
We have a consequently very happy, excited and jetlagged sex nerd.
