After years of flirting, the Eli Coleman Institute for Sexual And Gender Health of the University of Minnesota and me have become officials! I am now an affiliate scholar of the institute.
This situationship started during the annual meeting of The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality in New Orleans in 2023 where I met Kristen Mark, at that time a professor at UMN. I then got to meet the other members of the team twice in Minneapolis, under the direction of Greta Bauer, and could present my work, know more about their activities and also collaborate on organizing some casting sessions.
Since the last elections, I haven’t crossed the South Border so our interactions have become more sparse but I have high hopes that we will be able to collaborate much more in the future under the new direction of Kristen.
