SEX-ED + and The Lost Labia Cronicles are teaming up for a day to organize a support/discussion workshop for and by people living with lichen sclerosus.
WHERE? In Montreal, near the Jean Talon market
WHEN? Saturday, June 1, from 1 to 4 p.m.
WHY? Few resources exist to support people living with vulvar conditions. That’s why we’re taking advantage of Jaclyn’s visit (she usually lives in Toronto) to organize a workshop for and by those who are affected.
Before and after the workshop, there will be an opportunity for those who wish to do so to make a cast of their own vulva and take it home with them.
The casts made during the day will be used to create pedagogical models to improve support and diagnosis of this condition.
PLEASE NOTE: you can take part in the workshop and not cast your vulva.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- The activity is free, with a voluntary contribution.
- It will take place in SEX-ED + apartment, which is a 400m walk from the Jean Talon Metro station.
- There are 5 steps up to get to the flat.
- There is a cat in the house.
- Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
- Guests are asked not to wear scented products to protect the health of migraine sufferers.
